Who We Are
GROW (Guidance – Rights – Opportunities – Wellbeing) Consortium is a partnership of three Zimbabwean organisations united by a shared belief: children deserve more than temporary support — they deserve a future built on dignity, safety, and opportunity.
Formed in 2025, the consortium combines the strengths and experience of organisations working in child protection, media empowerment, and skills development. By working together, we address the needs of children in a holistic way, ensuring they are protected, heard, and prepared for the future.
At GROW Consortium, we believe that when children feel safe, confident, and capable, they grow into adults who positively transform their communities.
Our Partner Organisations
The strength of the GROW Consortium lies in the collaboration between three organisations, each contributing a unique and vital area of expertise.
Chimana Child Protection Organisation (CCPO)
As the lead partner, CCPO focuses on safeguarding children and ensuring their rights are respected. The organisation works within communities to protect children's welfare and advocate for safe and supportive environments where children can grow without fear or neglect.
Inclusive Global Media (IGM)
IGM empowers children to express themselves through storytelling, film, and other creative media platforms. By giving children a voice, the organisation helps young people share their perspectives, raise awareness about important issues, and inspire meaningful conversations in society.
Skills Amplification Programme (SAP)
SAP equips children and young people with practical, lifelong skills. Through training in areas such as technology, creativity, and personal development, SAP helps prepare the next generation for opportunities and challenges in an ever-changing world.
